We believe in God as: 1) the Father almighty, the creator of all things; 2) Jesus Christ the son, who came down from heaven as fully divine and fully man, chose to suffer and die to atone for our sins, only to rise and ascend, and will one day come again; 2) Holy Spirit, the giver of life and the means to connect us daily with the Father and Son.
Man was created in the image of God to have and long for relationship with Him, but we are alienated in that relationship as a result of sin/disobedience. As such, we are incapable through our efforts of regaining that relationship with Him because of our brokenness.
God’s Response to Our Problem
Jesus Christ suffered on the cross for our sins in our stead, mending our relationship with God and restoring our lives. Through Christ, we now have direct access to God and to the kingdom of heaven; we cannot earn such a sacrifice, we only need to have faith.
The church, which is the body of Jesus Christ (more than a mere building), is a spiritual organism made up of those who are the followers of Him. The intent of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through the love He has shown us.
We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and the central authority in faith and in life. We seek to apply biblical principles to all facets of human aspiration and action.
