We invite people to serve the needs of those in need through word and service. We encourage you to get involved through providing hope to our city, neighborhood and context! These are some of the prior outreaches we have done in the past:

SPARK PACKS

Spark Packs is a initiative to create more interactions between Christians and the poor through assembling homeless care-packages (washcloths, food, clothes, etc.) for individuals to distribute during their daily lives. We encourage people to assemble these packages to give out to our congregants to bless those in need.

LIFERICE

We partner with LifeRice, a nonprofit humanitarian food aid organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of undernourished children around the corner in the United States and starving children around the world. Once a year, we purchase and pack nutritious meals (rice, soy, vitamins & flavoring, vegetables) that can be stored and shipped to those in need in Haiti.

Do for one

Do For One’s vision is a future where the world is keenly aware of the problems people with disabilities face. Their mission is to promote stronger communities and richer lives by bringing people excluded from freely given support into healthy and lasting relationships. They launched in Queens in 2019 and we support them through our Do For One Fundraiser Coffeehouse (100% of proceeds go to Do For One). We have made other donations to Do For One every since.
